Roar Writers Retreat

A Luxury Sea Side Retreat

Strengthen Your Intuition and Enhance Your Creativity

Saint Augustine, FL

Wednesday, Jan 6th – Sunday, Jan 10th 2027

You don’t need another push.
You don’t need another plan.
You need space…real space…to hear yourself again.

The Roar Writing Retreat is your invitation to step out of noise and back into what’s true.
To let the ocean steady you.
To let your body soften.
To let your inner knowing rise…quietly, clearly, without force.

We’ll gather in a luxury home on the beach, where mornings begin with salt air and permission, and your nervous system remembers what it feels like to be safe, supported, and held by something bigger than your to-do list

This retreat is for you if you’ve been craving:

  • a deeper exhale
  • a clearer connection to your intuition
  • creativity that feels like relief, not performance
  • time away that actually changes you

Who will guide you

Jennifer Grace

Jennifer Grace will lead two intuitive writing sessions to open your inner voice, the one beneath the roles, the expectations, and the “I’m fine.” You’ll write to remember. You’ll write to release. You’ll write to return to yourself.

Julie Heaton

Julie Heaton is an author and coach who walked away from decades in executive leadership to write ROAR: Your Sacred Rebellion. She now helps women reclaim their voice and own their story.

What You Will Experience

This is not about doing more.
It’s about coming back.

  • Writing that unlocks your voice and your next chapter
  • Yoga that softens your body and steadies your energy
  • Intuition Practices that strengthen your own inner guidance
  • Writing that unlocks your voice and your next chapter
  • Spacious time for rest, connection, and the kind of conversations that feel like medicine
  • FUN! Game nights, dance parties in the kitchen, and one epic night out on the town to hear live music

The feeling you’ll leave with

Lighter.
Clearer.
More you.

Not because you fixed yourself…
but because you finally gave yourself the space to listen.

About Saint Augustine

You’ll feel it the second you arrive…cobblestone streets, warm stone, arched doorways, and breezy courtyards that make you swear you’ve wandered into an old coastal town in Spain.

Founded in 1565, this is the oldest continuously occupied settlement of European origin in the U.S., a place where history isn’t in a museum… it’s all around you.

You can stroll St. George Street (a pedestrian-only ribbon through the historic district), take in the seaside strength of Castillo de San Marcos, and admire the Spanish Renaissance beauty of Flagler College…all in the same afternoon.

It’s the perfect backdrop for a retreat like this, because in a city that has held centuries of stories, you remember you’re allowed to begin a new one.
